It’ss been a common claim that student loans are especially burdensome on women, with scenarios being worked up to suggest women will have a lower repayment rate across their lifetime and never end up repaying them (as opposed to men, who will merely take decades).
Data so far suggests this isn’t true in general. I wonder what that says about wage equality amongst my contemporaries.
